a good day/

today was great, hung out, just chilled, then sat in the woods, lil rain..no biggie, no deer tonite but so nice and quiet! dinner at the waffle house, and got to hang with pooter for a bit,
overall a good day. tomorrow i ride.

a good day

 so me and big brandon hit the road on the baggers and went to the state fair for some afternoon grub. no lines to speak of and free parkin, free admission .( he got some connections) hell we parked the bikes inside the fair grounds , road right in through the people and parked near the food vendors! cant reveil the secret on how though!! it was great.

 sausage n peppers, and some franks red hot, I PUT THAT SHIT ON EVERYTHING! hahaha.

 hear about this giant peanut butter cup from some one, dark choc, rich n creamy ! overload!!!

finnished the day sittin in a bean field lookin for bambi ! hell i saw more white tails named bambi at the fair! oh well, lets see what happens today, im goin for a ride and have some lunch some where.

the rock shade tree style cont.

 burn outs , beer bluesky...all weekend long. and it got better as each eve. cooled things off. what a great show.

 ok, every year or so people are nominated to become shade trees, and they take this serious! well deisel, and token and one other got nominated and i cant remember his name to save my ass.
well maddog told deisel to put a shade tree sticker higher than the others at the finnish line, well they did.
then dog got his wife to get one higher , so the nomanees hoisted her up and got it done!
i pitty next years nominiees cause they are gonna need a ladder truck.

 later me and doc rolled out lookin a sleepin bag for him at walmart. found some killer egg rolls, and just goofed off for a bit.

 the bonfire came back to life !

 about 5000 lbs of food was served up for all. and then the nominate and coin ceramoney went down with doc singing the national anthem, and then maddog announced the years nominees for membership,
deisel, token chad, and one other ,,,and i still cant remember his name! sorry , im new to this group and to many to remember.
then maddog stood attop a old shitter and announced two people were getting member coins, and as he went to read the name on the first coin he dropped it right in the shitter! everyone lost it, doc grabbed it out and mad dog read the name davo! the crowed went nuts !
and then he called out scotty, and a big applause went up.
they took the oath and the chalis was passed all around to toast the new trees.

 after the ceramoney, shop rag announced that dave and tam after three years have decided to get hitched, again the crowed hooped and hollered in approval. congrats brother she is an awsome catch, and i wish you all the best.
later the whole camp saddled up and rode into the woods about a mile behind the track, were the shade tree family laid to rest the ashes of a young brother , robert. his ashes now rest with two other shadetree brothers and they are vivisted every year at the end of the gathering.
maddog lead the group in prayer , yeager was passed and finnished, and beers drank in memory of fallen brothers. rip.
then we rode back and partied the nite away.
if you never meet a shade tree member, well your missin out, they give and give some more, they treat guests like family.

my monday mornin view as i got out of my tent, i broke camp and said my good byes to all, the blacksheep wanted me to roll to j-ville for a couple days , it was hard to pass up home cookin from tam, but i had some other things callin me away. ( deer huntin )
well i hauled ass and made it back in 2 hrs 10 min dodged the rain the whole way! weee! what a great solo ride up and back.
well next weekend is another adventure, friends in conn wantin me there, and daytona to the south! , j-ville memorial run on sunday, hmmmm what to do? i do know one thin ! it will be on 2 wheels.

the rock, shade tree style.

so i headed west on friday mornin with an invite to camp ,party, and enjoy the AHDRA at the rock.
man oh man , im i glad i did! here im stoppin for cold beer so im not empty handed at the compound.

 arriving early i was greeted buy 3 of the shade trees and after tellin them im lookin for mad dog they said come on in , but dog haddnt arrived, but the j-ville trees had so i rolled over to that side of the compound and found pat, indy bill and doc george etc. and started to make myself at home after all the hellos, the cold pbr was a hit.

 good ol doc george, nicest guy around! thanks for the ibuprophone doc, ya saved my weekend.

 uuuugh, this cherry shine?? the fruit was killin me, and tam an sara ate them like candy!! plus takillya and whiskey, and ,,well it never stopped flowin!

but shade tree ! well this cook tent operation was some thing else!! breakfast, lunch and dinner! every damn day! ***** 5 stars go out to the guys manning the cook tent.

on the road again

ok, specticals, testicals, wallet ,and watch? yep i got em, im off to rockinham for 3 days of racin , campin , beer,and brotherhood.
got a invite from the blacksheep ans the shadetree racin crew to party this weeken , im ready!

the rock and chesterfeild swap

ok, campin gear waterproofed last nite. when they say spray this camp dry product in a well vented area they aint kiddin!
air mattress and pump , cloths, cash, crushable cooler, pistola, rain gear, leathers, im good ta go!
lookin forward to hangin with the shade tree family for 2 days then ridin to hook up with gator in chesterfield va, for the departure bike works annual swap meet.
get back home and its time to prepare for daytona !

runaway

 so yesterday it rained again, on and off. so we tried to get gators FLH up the grassy knoll into the back door and on the lift.
it was wet an all he did was slip an slide all over, like a ol time hill climb.
his dog hates tis bike, for some reason he just hates it and freaks out every time it fires up.

 we got it up the second attempt an hour later and gator changed out the volt reg. and did some other adjustments.

thats when we realized harley the shop mascot had dissapered from the property! took an hour of lookin before a chic called and said she had him at her house down the road.
gave us all a scare and as his punnishment for runnin away he got icecream! wtf?
hes gonna have ta get use to the bagger.

 met april and gator at the sugar shack at noon.

 worked on installin the seat bracketgator made for the bagger,

 pooter lookin on while the guys figure out a chargin problem on the bagger when we got to eqlipses place.

 while they did that , i worked on eqlipses beer supply. ( i dont want it to spoil in the fridge ya know, )

it was a good old lazy day, later we went to meet up with OD, moca mike and his new lady and got a killer mexican dinner, with some heavy duty margaritas.
every time we go there a lady that waits tables asks to touch gators PISTOLA!! lol.  and everyone split for home.
